Rouen and Dijon neck and neck

Faced with a Dijon side that dominated possession, Rouen remained united and solid defensively. The two teams ended up neck and neck in a goalless encounter.

The first half was fairly uneventful at Diochon between the top two teams in the National league. Dijon took control of the ball. Rouen defended well. They struggled to break out at times, but once in the opposition’s half, they managed to get the ball into the box from corners or free kicks. However, there was little danger at either end in a tight game. The most exciting moment came in added time, with Ba-Sy at the origin. His strong cross in front of goal could not be converted (45+1′)…

After the break, Dijon regained control of the ball. And, despite two chances for Kérouédan (63′, 68′), the two best opportunities of the second half went to Dijon. Twice, in front of Lembezat (58′) and Diallo (85′), Temperton pulled off great saves! Our goalkeeper kept Rouen’s goal intact and the score remained unchanged. On both sides. Rouen and Dijon parted ways with a goalless draw, with the Red Devils retaining first place in the National league.
