FC Rouen secures victory against Bourg Péronnas

Solid from start to finish, FCR defeated Bourg Péronnas to secure its third consecutive victory.

Rouen dominated possession, but their passing often lacked precision when approaching the opposition’s box. The first half hour remained tight and uneventful. Then Seydi headed a cross from Titebah, forcing the goalkeeper to make a save (28′). The duo made their mark again two minutes later. Titebah passed to Seydi, who beat his defender before finding the back of the net (1-0, 30′). It was the third goal in three games for our number 27!

After the break, Rocha had the chance to double the lead, but his penalty was deflected by the post (56′)… Shortly after, Besic found the outside of Temperton’s net (57′). As in the first half, FCR then took control of the ball. But the crosses lacked precision, as did the passes approaching the Bourg area. At the end of the game, Bourg pushed forward, but the defense remained solid and conceded nothing. FCR won against Bourg and firmly retained its place at the top of the table.
