125 years of the club #2: the 1925 Coupe de France final

The Diables Rouges make history in the Coupe de France, reaching the final for the first and only time in their history after eliminating CA Paris, Calais, Stade Français and Olympique de Paris.

The final, held in Colombes, pits the club against CA Sport Généraux. The match, played on April 26, 1925, failed to produce a winner after 120 minutes. A return match was therefore necessary, and was played on May 10, 1925. Despite two goals by Marcel Boulanger, which twice brought the Diables Rouges level, the Reds conceded a penalty and finally lost 3-2.
