Following the incidents that occurred during the Coupe de France match between FC Rouen and LOSC Lille, the Disciplinary Committee has handed down its verdict concerning the disturbances at the Robert Diochon stadium.
FC Rouen was sanctioned for the following acts:
– Use of pyrotechnic devices by its supporters and visiting fans,
– Comments made by one of its supporters during the minute’s silence,
– Comments made by supporters towards an official,
– Various projectiles thrown at an official.
As a result, the club has been fined €4,000 and the Lenoble stand has been suspended for one French Cup match. This suspension means that any repeat offence will automatically result in the sanction being applied.
FC Rouen has also been fined for the various incidents that occurred during the trip to Orléans. The club deeply regrets these incidents and reminds its supporters of the importance of exemplary behavior in all circumstances.
