Press release – Trip to Versailles

Press release - Trip to Versailles

Club

9 January 2026

Dear supporters,

Next Friday at 7:30 p.m., FC Rouen will play its 17th National League match against FC Versailles at the Georges-Lefèvre stadium in Saint-Germain-en-Laye.

As the capacity of the Versailles stadium is limited to 1,000 spectators, the visitors’ section only has 100 seats available.
Given the discrepancy between this very limited number of tickets and the demand,
Given the particularly strict security measures related to the risk classification of this match,
Given the constraints on access to the stadium and the conditions in the parking lot—a prefectural decree has been issued,

FC Rouen 1899 has concluded that no fair and satisfactory solution can be implemented. After internal consultation and in light of the decision by our fan groups (Kop Lenoble and Rouen Fans) not to travel to the stadium, the club has therefore decided to refuse the 100 seats allocated by FC Versailles.
We do not wish to arbitrarily select some of you, nor do we wish to organize a lottery to determine who would have the “privilege” of supporting our players away from home.

???????? ???????????????????????????????????? ???????? ???????? ???????????????????? ????????????????
