FCR wins against Wasquehal

FCR won its third preseason match against Wasquehal. The Red Devils scored twice again.

In its third preseason match, FC Rouen scored two goals in the first half again. This time, it didn’t concede before scoring. From a corner taken by Mbock, Faye headed the ball into the six-yard box (1-0, 23′). Then, just before the break, Gerbeaud scored his second goal of the summer with a perfectly taken penalty (2-0, 45+1′).

After the break, Wasquehal reduced the deficit with a long-range strike (2-1, 66′). The Red Devils regained the upper hand and had some good chances at the end of the game, but failed to score again. FCR recorded their second win of the week by the same score (2-1), their third in three games this summer, before traveling to Laval on Wednesday.
