FCR put in a great performance at Diochon to beat Orléans. The Red Devils are on a roll and are now at the top of the table, in first place tonight!

Rouen started the match strongly. After only 19 seconds of play, Faye got into shooting position, but his attempt was saved (1′). Several corners followed in this strong start by FCR, then Orléans took control and hit the post through Lallias (17′), after an early chance for Sanchez (12′). It was then Temperton’s turn to intervene in front of El Khoumisti (35′). Immediately afterwards, Seydi, well positioned, missed his shot on a cross from Bassin (36′), who was on target a few minutes later after a nice sequence, but his shot went over the bar (43′).

After the break, FCR started strongly, as they had in the first half. After just 17 seconds of play, the ball was already in the Orléans box with crosses from Faye and then Titebah (46′). Five minutes later, Titebah crossed again and found Seydi, who was denied by Jan and then the post (52′). Our number 27 was finally rewarded for his efforts when he found the side netting of Jan’s goal after a beautiful pass from Bezzehkami (1-0, 56′)! FCR then had several chances to double their lead (Bassin 61′; Genton, 75′; Cartillier, 86′), although Orléans had control of the ball. However, they failed to create any real danger. The Red Devils kept a clean sheet, secured the victory, and took the lead at the end of the seventh matchday.
