FC Rouen strongly condemns the isolated incident that occurred during the last match at Stade Robert-Diochon, during which an object was thrown at an official referee.

This gesture, which is completely contrary to the values of respect, fair play, and responsibility that we uphold, is unacceptable. Thanks to the rapid intervention of our security service, the perpetrator was identified and immediately apprehended by law enforcement.

The club, through its general manager, has expressed its full support for the referee concerned.

FC Rouen would like to remind everyone that while the passion that drives our fans is a valuable force, it must be expressed with respect for the players. Together, let’s make the Stade Robert-Diochon a place of commitment and enthusiasm… but also of exemplary behavior.
