Having won by one goal in the first leg, the Diablesses once again defeated Ch\u00e2teauroux in the second leg of the promotion playoff. This time, the Rouen team won by a wider margin to secure their promotion to D3!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Diablesses got off to a strong start. After creating early chances (5′, 7′), the Rouen side broke the deadlock through Peniguel, who was on hand to head in a corner and score the first goal of the match (1-0, 11′). St\u00e9phane Arnold\u2019s team continued to dominate, and despite several chances to extend their lead (18\u2019, 19\u2019, 22\u2019, 24\u2019), the second goal of the match was scored by Ch\u00e2teauroux, who equalized (1-1, 27\u2019). Was one goal enough to shake the Diablesses\u2019 confidence? Not at all! Within a minute, they regained the lead through Hamoudi (2-1, 28\u2019), who even scored her second goal just before halftime (3-1, 42\u2019). The Rouen team went into halftime with a well-deserved lead. In the second half, Peniguel also scored a brace with a lobbed shot that beat the Ch\u00e2teauroux goalkeeper (4-1, 70′). Late in the game, Rouen captain Souillier sealed the victory with a sublime 20-meter strike that nestled just under the crossbar (5-1, 89′). It was a celebration all around for the Diablesses, who secured a brilliant victory and clinched their promotion to D3!<\/p>\n
