Dany Goprou spoke at a press conference before the match against Dijon.
FCR is going through a difficult period. What do you think is needed to reverse the trend?
DG: Losing twice in a row is part of sport. Failure is part of sport. We have to get back on our feet. We’ve got to keep our heads. We still have room for improvement. We’ve got a focused, committed group. We need to stay mobilized.
You’re playing one game after another in your first season with the FCR and your second in the National. How are you feeling?
DG: I’m feeling good. I’ve been made to feel welcome. They trust me, and when you’re a player, that’s all you need. I can get on with it, while continuing to improve and perform well.
You’ve played in several positions. Do you have a preference?
DG: I don’t necessarily have a preference. What matters to me is being on the pitch. My athletic qualities enable me to move fast and be strong in duels. I’m there to serve the team. The choice of position is up to the coach.
