FCR couldn't find the breakthrough against Sochaux

National

21 October 2024

In Diochon against Sochaux, FCR was held in check. Rather dominant, the Red Devils did not manage to force the Sochaux lock.

They only missed one goal. FCR did not manage to find the fault against Sochaux and as, once again, they were solid, the score remained nil-nil. A sixth nil-nil result in ten days, despite another good match by the Red Devils.

Rouen had the crosses, the set pieces to create danger, but nothing worked. The chances were there too, especially in the first half. Allée saw his shot unfortunately go off the post while Ferrah stumbled on Patouillet.

After the break, the crosses and shots lacked precision. So much so that the score never changed since on the other side the Rouennais remained solid from start to finish.
