FCR caught late by VA

FCR were once again pegged back in the dying moments to draw with Valenciennes at Diochon.

Once again, FC Rouen dropped points in the dying minutes. The Red Devils took the lead at the break, thanks to Diawoye Diarra who perfectly converted a penalty awarded by Benkaid (1-0, 36′). This goal kept Rouennais in front until the very last moment, when Antoine equalized with a long-range shot that was blocked… (1-1, 89′).

A late equalizer after FCR had conceded very few chances to VA. Valenciennes tried to bring the danger, but the Rouen defense was solid.

At the other end, the Red Devils were dangerous, notably through Ferrah, who unfortunately found the outside netting after a fine back-heel from Diarra. The gap remained at just one goal… Insufficient, as VA equalized at the end of the game.
