A good point brought back from Sochaux

Dominated in the first period, the Red Devils reacted well after the break to make a logical comeback and bring back a point from Sochaux. The unbeaten streak continues.

After a good start in which Rouen tried to create danger with crosses, Sochaux took the upper hand after the first quarter of an hour. After four chances in five minutes (16′, 17′, 19′, 20′), Gomel opened the scoring with a header (1-0, 28′). Temperton then made saves (33′, 39′) and was helped out by his post (34′). In the other box, just before the opening goal, Ba-Sy set up Bassin, who missed the target from six yards out (26′). Rouen were deservedly behind at the break.

After returning from the locker room, the Red Devils came back strong and quickly created two chances. Pierre was on hand to save shots from Kérouédan (47′) and Ba-Sy (50′). FCR had a better second half and were rewarded thanks to a substitute. Fuss equalized with a powerful strike under the bar (1-1, 78′), four minutes after coming on. It was a deserved equalizer for a draw that Temperton preserved with another fine save from Gomel (83′). Rouen took a point from Bonal and continued their impressive unbeaten run of 13 games.
