A draw for FCR against Laval

National

23 July 2025

Against Laval, a Ligue 2 team, FC Rouen put in a good performance in a match that ended in a draw.

Facing a higher-ranked team, the Red Devils had more opportunities than their opponents in the first half. But it was Laval who proved more clinical, opening the scoring early in the game through Sellouki (0-1, 10′).

After the break and four changes at halftime, Rouen continued their strong performance. The FCR continued to have more chances than Laval. The Red Devils were rewarded on the hour mark, equalizing with a fine move finished off by Tilliez (1-1, 61′).

Rouen and Laval ended the match with a draw. FCR will play again in two days against Avranches.
