FCR beat Concarneau in a crazy, high-scoring match. The Red Devils return to winning ways.

FC Rouen are back on track for goals and victory against Conarneau, thanks in no small part to an exceptional half! A dream first half for the Red Devils. Abi opened the scoring with a header from a perfect Bassin cross (1-0, 11′)! Ten minutes later, Mbock finished perfectly in the box from a Benkaid service (2-0, 21′).

But the Red Devils didn’t stop there! Faye scored his first FCR goal, well set up by Benkaid (3-0, 32′). Finally, just before the break and after two assists, Benkaid scored in his turn (4-1, 44′). His tenth goal of the season restored their three-goal lead when Etuin reduced the deficit with a direct free-kick (3-1, 37′), five minutes after a fine save by Royes (32′).

After the break, Faye came close to doubling the lead, but hit the bar (46′). Benkaid was denied by Salles (55′). Meanwhile, Royes had deflected a shot against his post (50′). However, our keeper was deceived by Séry, who finished off a fine move at the far post (4-2, 56′).

FCR then held on to their three points. Despite a scare at the end of the game when Faye was sent off (78′). Royes were solid on their line (86′, 89′, 90′) and held off Concarno’s third goal by Soukouna (4-3, 91′).
