FC Rouen strengthens its attack

FC Rouen welcomes Charles Abi to strengthen its forward line. Our new number 9 has signed a 6-month contract + 2-year option (in favor of the club).

After last night’s disappointing result, FC Rouen 1899 is determined to continue its efforts to improve its squad. We are delighted to announce the arrival of our first striker, Charles Abi, who fills a need identified several weeks ago*.

This recruitment is not an immediate reaction, but the culmination of patient and ambitious reflection. We preferred to wait for the right moment to recruit quality profiles capable of adding real sporting value. This approach is in line with our long-term project, focused on strengthening the club’s long-term performance.

Charles Abi, who has a wealth of experience in Ligue 1 with AS Saint-Étienne (43 matches), combines physical strength with an intelligent approach to the game. At 24, he has the ideal profile to energize our attack.

This arrival demonstrates our desire to attract coveted profiles, but above all to develop and progress with players who share our values and ambitions. Together, we will rise to the challenges that await us, and continue to thrill the Robert Diochon stadium.

Welcome to you, Charles!
