FCR Wins Handily Against Petrus Flo

In their third match of the summer, against Petrus Flo, the Red Devils scored ten goals and won handily. FCR now faces USBCO, a Ligue 2 team, on Saturday in Montreuil-sur-Mer.

After an opening quarter-hour in which Rouen dominated possession but failed to create any chances, the Red Devils found their scoring touch for the remainder of the first half. Souleymane Anne scored twice (1-0, 19′, then 2-0, 21′). Fuss netted the third goal off an assist from Diaby (3-0, 27′). Viana, who had set up the first two goals, scored Rouen’s fifth goal himself (5-0, 36′). Earlier, Traoré had also scored, both setting up and finishing the play (4-0, 31′).

In the second half, just as in the first, Rouen scored five more times. Tramoni cut inside from the right onto his left foot and found the bottom corner (6-0, 51′). Then, before nine substitutions were made, Fuss, on a penalty kick, and then Viana each scored their second goal of the match (7-0, 58′ and 8-0, 60′). Anne found the back of the net for the third time in the match (9-0, 66′). Bassin sealed the victory with a left-footed shot into the top corner (10-0, 71′). The score remained unchanged after that tenth goal, despite chances for Karamoko (72′) and Sommer (85′). FCR now faces USBCO, a Ligue 2 side, on Saturday in Montreuil-sur-Mer.
