FCR qualify against Ginglin-Cesson

Actualité

30 November 2024

FCR will be at the rendezvous of the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France. At Roudourou, the Red Devils dominated AS Ginglin-Cesson.

The Red Devils have long lacked offensive edge, precision in passing and shooting. In the first half, FCR dominated territorially, held the ball, centered a lot, but the score never changed. The shots often failed outside the goal guarded by Hinault. The few opposing counters were well managed by the Rouen rearguard.

After the break, the frame continued to slip away at the start of the period… Until the 56th minute. Sanson was on the rebound from a corner by Allée and pushed the ball into the back of the net (0-1, 56′)! Then, it was Benkaid’s turn to score! On an exceptional sequence at the edge of the area, our number 10 of the day doubled the lead (0-2, 71′). Bezzekhami, at the end of the game, took charge of scoring the third on an offering from Ferrah (0-3, 88′)

Thanks to these three goals, FCR dominated AS Ginglin-Cesson and qualified for the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France, for a second consecutive season, a first in the 21st century.
