FCR held to a draw by Fleury

FCR started the season with a draw at Diochon. Against Fleury, the Red Devils had chances but failed to score.

The season got off to a strong start for FCR with twenty minutes of quality play, a fierce start that only lacked a goal. The Rouen team pressed hard, earning several corners and even several scoring opportunities. Notably in the sixth minute, Gerbeaud was in a good position but was stopped by Alette (6′). Fleury responded after the twentieth minute with a shot from Badin, which was deflected over the bar by Temperton (24′). On another long-range shot, saved by the goalkeeper under the crossbar, Titebah lit up the end of the first half (45′).

As soon as the teams returned from the locker rooms, Belliard, well positioned in the box, missed the target (47′). The rest of the half was evenly balanced, with chances at both ends, until Farade hit the post after a 30-meter run (65′). Shortly afterwards, five substitutions were made (three for FCR, two for FCF91) and Faye, who had just come on, unfortunately hit the post (70′)… Five minutes later, Ait Moujane was denied by the impressive Alette (75′). Our right-back was then sent off in added time, with the match ultimately ending in a goalless draw.
