FCR return to winning ways against Boulogne at the Stade de La Libération. Rouen take three precious points to move up the table.

Solid throughout the first half, Rouen lacked the precision in the final pass to create chances. Finally, ten minutes from time, Bezzekhami’s pass found Benkaid in front of Uriev, who turned the ball away (35′). Mion followed up with a shot which Boulogne defender Pinot touched off the line. Penalty and red card for the USBCO player. Abi converted perfectly to open the scoring (0-1, 38′).

Abi then gave FCR a two-goal lead with a sublime overhead kick from a corner (0-2, 60′). Benkaid almost tripled the lead when he hit Uriev’s post (68′).

From a corner, Touré reduced the gap (76′) and gave the Boulonnais hope. But Rouen held on and even had two late chances through Mion (87′) and Letono (94′) to kill the game off. Both attempts were saved by Uriev. The score remained 2-1 in favor of FCR, who returned to winning ways at a stadium where Boulogne had been unbeaten this season!
