Regrets for FCR against Versailles

Regrets for FCR against Versailles

National

5 October 2024

FCR had plenty of chances against Versailles, but never found the net and were held to a draw by FCV, thanks also to a fine performance from Royes.

All that was needed was a goal… The Red Devils had plenty of chances, but FCR were unable to find the net throughout the match.

In the first half, Benkaid was twice in evidence, but was beaten by a good Rénot early on before missing the target a few minutes before the break.

After the break, Versailles came under more pressure, and Royes came out on top on several occasions. The match went from one goal to the next, and the Red Devils still had plenty of chances. In particular, Abdelmoula hit the bar…

The Versailles nets never wavered. FCR picked up a point and went five games in a row without defeat. But their win tally remains stuck at 1.
